Hello! This is my first post in this community. I am trying to install OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2 by Hazard on my computer. I've already created my USB drive using Ubuntu's built-in Disk Utility, since I don't have access to a Mac or a Hackintosh. The process is basically the same, but my problem is that I cannot get my computer to boot from it. I've already tried using Nawcom's ModCD, but it was useless for me, since it wouldn't show any USB drive.

Is there any way to make it boot? Perhaps installing a bootloader in the flash drive? If so, how do I do that?

Here are my specs, just in case you may need them:

  • AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.1 GHz

  • Zotac GeForce GT430 (1GB)

  • 2GB DDR2 RAM

  • ASRock Alive NF6P-VSTA motherboard

  • 2 160GB SATA hard drives

BTW: I have Ubuntu and Windows 7, and OS X is currently running on a virtual machine. My idea is to keep Ubuntu running in one hard drive and OS X in the other one, completely ditching Windows.

Many, many thanks in advance for your help.
